Boys :

The main hormone is testosterone

Testosterone acts on the testis ( male reproductive organ)

And stimulates the formation of sperms ( which are the male reproductive cell or gamete)

It also causes the development of male secondary sexual characters like

increase in height

Deep or base voice

Growth of hair on the face , chest

Girls:

The main hormones are estrogen progesterone , FSH ,LH

They act on the ovaries and cause release of a mature ovum ( female sex cell / gamete)

They act on the uterus and cause menstruation

They cause the development of secondary sexual characters like female pattern of hair distribution , growth of mammary glands , high pitched voice

Hope this helps
