Side = a = 10m

Diagonal = a√2 = 10√2m

On travelling from A to B,

Distance = AB = 10m

Displacement = AB = 10m

On travelling from A to C,

Distance = AB + BC = 10+10 = 20m

Displacement = AC = Diagonal = 10√2m

Btw where watching GTA 5 in the background??

Did you know GTA 5 is now available for free in the Epic Game Store but only for a limited time

Hope this is helpful to you

Explanation:

in first case

disatnce and displacement both are same

a to B

distance =10m

displacement =10m

but second case

a to c

distance =10m+10m=20m

and for displacement =side *underoot 2

=10*underroot2 m

because displacement is the shortest distance between Final and initial postion
