If a,b,c are in AP, then prove that a^2 + c^2 - 2a(b-c) = 2a (b-c).

Pls solve.... urgent.

Here s your answer

a^2 + c^2 -2a (b-c) = 2a (b-c)

a^2 + c^2 -2ab +2ac = 2a(b-c)

(a-c)^2 +2ab = 2a (b-c)

So

(a-c)^2 + 2ab = 2ab - 2ac

Hence verified!!
