Colour after heating white

Equation  are as follow

At 63⁰C:

CuSO4.5H2O(s)→CuSO4.3H2O(s)+2H2O(g)

At 109⁰C:

CuSO4.3H2O(s)→CuSO4.H2O(s)+2H2O(g)

At 200⁰C:

CuSO4.H2O(s)→CuSO4(s)+H2O(g)

At 650⁰C:

CuSO4(s)→CuO(s)+SO3(g)

a) When blue copper sulphate Penta hydrate crystals are heated , it turns into colourless anhydrous copper sulphate.

On further heating it becomes \bf{black} colour copper (II) oxide along with a liberation of sulphur trioxide.

b) Name of residue : \boxed{Cuprous \: oxide}

Formula of residue : \boxed{CuO}
