Answer:

Option (c) 4cm is your correct answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

PL= 8cm

PR = 12 cm

QR = 6 cm

Now,in the given angled triangle PLR

using Pythagoras theorem,

=> PR² = PL²+LR²

=> LR² = 144-64

=> √80 = 4√5 cm

LR = LQ+QR

=> LQ = CR-QR = (4√5)cm

Now, area of triangle PLR

A=½×(4√5)×8

= 16√5 cm²

Now, area of triangle PLQ

A= ½×(4√5)×8

= (16√5-24)cm²

Hence area of triangle PLR = Area on

triangle PLQ+ Area of triangle PQR

So, area of triangle PLR = Area of triangle

PLQ = Area of triangle PQR

=> 26√5-(16√5-24)

=> Area of triangle PQR = 24m²

=> ½×PR×QM =24

=> ½×12×QM = 24

∴ QM = 4 cm ans.

hope \: its \: help \: you.
