so
3a+2b=3
2a+3b=11/3

multiply 1st equation by 2 and second by 3
6a+4b=6
6a+9b=11
subtract

-5b=-5
so b= 1
put b=1 in equation 1
3a+2=3
a=1/3

a= 1/x+y =1/3
so x+y=3
b= 1/x-y=1
so x-y=1
add both
2x=4 so x=2
