Hypotenuse ^2 = Side 1 ^2 + side 2^2

Hypotenuse ^2 = 8^2 + 6^2

Hypotenuse ^2 = 64+36

Hypotenuse ^2 = 100

Hypotenuse = 10

Now the other half triangle again the same formula.

10^2 = 3^2 + AC^2

100 = 9 + AC^2

AC^2 = 100-9

AC^2 = 91

AC = \sqrt91
