= (2/5)[ -3/7 +1/14] - 1/4

A×B + A×C = A(B+C)  

=(2/5) [ (-6+1)/14] - 1/4

= (2/5)×(-5/14) - 1/4

= -1/7 - 1/4  

=( -4 - 7)/28

= -11/28

Therefore,

= -11/28
