We know C=Ae/d where A is area ofPlate and d is distance between the plates and in question A becomes half so Capacitance become half as initial and we know that dielectric in filled between the plates so C'=KC

C'=kC/2

Over all capacitor is =K'C/2+KC/2

Where K=2 AND K'=4 and C=10uF so , Equivalent capacitor=30uF

capacitance of capacitor C1

C 1 =k1ε0A/2d

capacitance of capacitor C2

C2=k2ε0A/2d

equivalent capacitance is given by

Ceq=C1 + C2

=k1ε0A/2d+k2ε0A/2d

=1/2(k1+k2)ε0A/d

=1/2(2+4)10=30micro Farad
