By lens formula,

=> 1/f = 1/v - 1/u

=> 1/6=1/v - 1/-12

=> 1/6=1/v + 1/12

=> 1/v=1/6 - 1/12

=> 1/v=2-1/12

=> 1/v=1/12

=> v=12 cm.

therefore,image distance =12 cm,image is formed at other side of radius of curvature of same sized.
