Answer:

1/28 is the answer

Step-by-step explanation:

the students of a class like to play cricket = 1/4

remaining students wants to play badminton = 24

the total no. of students in the class = 1/4 + 1/24

{ here, the numerators are same. So, you can add only the denominators }

1/4 + 1/24 = 1/28

if it is helpful for you add me as brainliest.........

YOUR ANSWER

Let total no. of students = x

Students who like to play cricket = (1/2) x

Students who like to play football = (1/8) x

Students who like to play badminton = 24

Total student = student who like to play cricket + student who like to play football + student who like to play badminton

x = (1/2)x + (1/8)x + 24

x - (1/2) x - (1/8) x = 24

24 = (3/8)x

192 = 3x

x = 192/3

x = 64
