I WILL MARK YOU BRAINLIEST Is it true or false that if you halve the voltage of a circuit, the current will also halve?

Anonymous: I can say its true nd false. According to ohms law it true(V prptinl to I). But ohms law is applicable only in simple cases nd most of cases its violated(diode,alloys... etc) so it can be false also.
13ssuri: That’s very interesting, thank you
13ssuri: Not much of a law then is it haha

yes it is true as becoz of the formula ,,,,, V=IR ...which says i is inversely proportional to r nd v is directly proportional to r

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

The relation between Current and Voltage is given by
V = I R

As you can see from the above equation, we get that
Voltage is directly proportional to the Current flowing through the circuit.

When the Voltage is halved, then Current also gets halved but the condition is that the Resistance should be kept unchanged.

If Resistance is changed, then Current doesnot get halved on halving the Voltage.
