A car travels with uniform velocity of 20 m/s for 5s. The brakes are then in applied and the car is uniformly retarded. It comes to rest in further 8s. Draw a graph of velocity against time. Use this graph to find :
(a) The distance travelled in first 5s.
(b) The distance travelled after the brakes are applied.
(c) Total distance travelled.
(d) Acceleration during the first 5s and last 8s.

Hello there
So as you know that area under V-T graph gives you distance travelled...so after making graph simply calculate area to find the answers of first and second part...
For better understanding I'm attaching a picture of complete answer..
Hope it helps you...(if it does mark the answer as brainliest)
Thanks
