Equestriadash: Why did you replace with m? And after the equal to sign....it's (8/9) and not (-8/9).
ShantanuKapse05: bro but as per the rules negative divided by negative is positive
Equestriadash: Yeah...that's true. But what about the exponent?
ShantanuKapse05: thers a rule of identity too which tells that if we divide and number with same base ,we have to subtract their exponents
ShantanuKapse05: m^a÷m^b=m^a-b
Equestriadash: Yeah...I know. But what I'm trying to tell is that since (8/9) is positive, while the other terms are negative, changes will have to be made.
ShantanuKapse05: ok bro listen there are two keys for this question the first one is that any into negative numbers and if we divide them then the answer will be positive but there is the another key which is that if the numbers with same base but different exponents are divided then then the number we get is the same base with the difference of their exponents
Equestriadash: Yeah. I know the rules...but again in the second key...it's true we get the same base but in the question...(-8/9) and (8/9) are two different bases.
pranav1876: yes your answer is correct and solution is also correct and i will mark you as the brainlist but you could also do it by not replacing (8/9) by 1...... thanks
