I wish I would be the Prime Minister.
In this we are using would in tense because the Person is wishing to be Prime Minister. In the Grammar, if the sentence have wishing then we use past form of very and also according to the Sentence needed.
And Also when two Subjects comes in a sentence then after second Subject we have to use past tense.
