I have always been fascinated with birds to wonder at this creation of nature! I could imagine the pleasure one could experience with the freedom of flight. I could even envision the sense of being away and apart from mundane things! The sense of achievement of overcoming the wind, rise above one and all literally, enjoy my own company and let go completely and drift!
I am human. I enjoy being one too. But I would very much want to have the added advantage of taking off and feel free. The only way that is possible is by having wings. I often dream of having wings and do enjoy the freedom of my flight in my dreams. I have even envisaged my friends with similar advantage of wings, joining me in my flight. We always end up playing games in the sky, then, diving, chasing each other, whooping with joy! Imagine, how I must feel coming out of such dreams! I always come out of it with a deep sense of loss!
How I wish I had wings for real and could take off and fly, any time I chose!
