"I wish you all success" The principal concluded her speech on the convocation ceremony. It was a proud moment for her to see all her students dressed in black graduation coats and caps, sitting in front of her. It was just two years ago that they had come here as freshers, tensed and excited simultaneously. She remembered a girl whom she had seen crying on the first day. She sat on the bench in the garden, talking to herself and crying at the same time. From then on, she had started to take a notice of her. She was mostly quiet and scored average. Everything was going fine and one day she came to her and told her that she wanted to quit the college? Reason? Personal problems. She tried talking to her and convincing her to not leave. It worked. She still didn't know why she wanted to leave the college but since the day she had had the talk with her, she was a different person. Suddenly she was heading college events. She had become one of the most popular girls on campus. And today, she received the trophy for the best outgoing student and all she had to say was 'Thank You' turning to look at this old woman. It made her day.
