I wonder where they get those tokens, did I pass that way huge times ago and negligently drop them?

a. The poet wonders where the animals get the tokens of love, kindness, virtue, sympathy, etc.

b. The humans are born with such noble virtues and tokens of good qualities. But, over time, they drop them, I.e., they lose those virtues. They gradually become selfish, unkind and unsympathetic. Thus the poet says these lines.

c. The word "negligently" means carelessness.
