I work is more correct than I do work .

In modern English Work can be used as verb so there is no need to use do. Both r correct.But the 2nd sentence looks messy.

The 2nd sentence is I am a student.We should never forget the helping verb because without it a sentence is incomplete. So I am a student is correct.
