The use of chinese products was on the increase lately. This also be seen as a “side effect“ of the lockdown. People cooped up at home became bored easily and took shelter in the hands of chinese apps. This is mostly because of the lack of Indian apps in the same field.

The tension between the two countries rose after the indian army noticed that the Chinese had moved into a disputed section of their shared border. This caused a brutal conflict at the border which took the lives of many soldiers on each side. The news caused an uproar in india and people campaigned for the boycott of chinese goods harder than ever. The government of India banned a tot of 59 chinese apps including tiktok.

Commonly cited reasons for the boycott include the alleged "low quality of products", human rights issues, territorial conflicts involving China, support for separatist movements within China.Chinese businesses often produce goods tailored to market expectations; therefore, Chinese products may not be high in quality when consumers prefer to pay a low price.

We can also be a part of the campaign by not buying and using chinese goods.Boycotting Chinese goods would mean fewer cheap goods for consumers in India.

A full boycott of Chinese products is considered to be difficult to achieve, as the country manufactures a large number of goods that are widely sold and used across the world, and also holds stakes in various non-Chinese companies.

Also It needs to be acknowledged that China's exports to India account for only 2% of its total exports, so even if Indians boycott all the goods imported from China, it will not make as big an impact on China. ... Thus initiating a trade war when Indian manufacturing ability is limited is not going to favour India.

Still by sheer willpower and hardwork we Indians will continue to work hard to tame the chinese.

hope this helps:)
