Answer is ‘ But ‘.I would love to eat cakes and chocolates ------but-------my mom has warned me against it.If we look at the words after But: it's raining outside.

Both of those phrases can be used as stand-alone and as complete sentences.

Which means they're independent clauses, so we should use a comma before but.

When we don't have two independent clauses, you can leave the comma out.
