Sub: Suggestions to improve the supply of water in our locality

Sir

Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper I would like to present my views on how the supply of water can be made more beneficial to the citizens of our locality.

I am Karuna, a resident of Sector 26 locality, Ghaziabad. I would like to bring the attention of the kind authorities to the pathetic plight of our locality. We are forced to stand in lines 2 kilometres long under the scorching sun just to get our supply of drinking water. Even then, most of the citizens would have to go back empty handed since the water would have run out by the time it reached to them. The supply of water is also not regular. Sometimes, we have to go days without pure drinking water.

I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter as soon as possible. The water supply must be made regular and it should be ensured that every citizen get their daily supply of water. Also the hours of water supply should also be increased.

Kindly publish the aforesaid matter in your national daily to bring about a change in our locality as it really matters.

Sub: Scarcity of water in my locality

Respected ma'am,

I am Karuna, resident of A-20, Sector 4, Ranchi. I am writing a letter after concerned steps by writing letter to Corporation, no action has been taken.

So, as the summers are approaching, we always face water scarcity, but this year we are facing it, too early. We cannot get water everytime and need to save it, although we try it every year, the Corporation hasn't responded about the same yet. I think, separate water systems should be set up, so that when water comes, extra storage tanks can give us water. And, river water should be filtered if a distillation factory is set up.

I hope my letter will be posted in esteemed columns so that sleeping authorities can help us doing so.
