The hydride of berrylium is berrylium hydride (BeH2) . It is covalent in nature and has 2center - 3 electron bond .

II)

A. The common name of group 2 is 'alkaline earth metals '.

They are beryllium (Be), magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), strontium (Sr), barium (Ba), and radium (Ra).

B. The common name of group 17 is 'halogens' .

This group consist of the elements - fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), iodine (I), and astatine (At).
