Answers
Step-by-step explanation:
Let’s assume, person starts with Rs x
After 1st temple visit, he is left with Rs (2x-100)
After 2nd temple visit, he is left with Rs (4x-300)
After 3rd temple visit, he is left with Rs (8x-700)
After 4th temple visit, he is left with Rs (16x-1500), which is zero (as he is left with empty pockets)
Hence he started of with x i.e. Rs 1500/16 i.e. Rs 93.75
Answer: Rs 93.75
Mark this as brainliest.!
Let his initial money be x.
⇛ At first temple :
The money get doubled . so, the amount now is 2x.
he donates Rs. 100
So, Balance Amount
= 2x - 100
⇛At second temple :
The money again gets doubled . so, the amount now is 2(2x - 100)
= 4x - 200
he donated Rs. 100
So, Balance Amount = 4x - 200 - 100
= 4x - 300
⇛At third temple :
The money again gets doubled. so, the amount now is 2(4x - 300)
= 8x - 600
he donated Rs. 100
So, Balance Amount = 8x - 600 - 100
= 8x - 700
⇛At fourth temple :
The money again gets doubled. so, the amount now is 2(8x - 700)
= 16x - 1400
He donated Rs. 100 and he had nothing now.
So,
⇛16x - 1500 = 0
⇛16x = 1500
⇛x = 93.75 Rs.
