Ice at 0 degree Celsius appears colder to the mouth than water at 0degree Celsius,why?

It is so because:-
Ice at 0°C undergoes melting which absorbs heat from the surrounding and thus reducing the temperature of the surrounding area that is of the mouth.
Water does not undergo any phase thus the temperature of mouth remains constant and no such extra coldness is felt...
