ice at 273 Kelvin causes of more cooling than water at the same temperature

chandranibhattachary: So, water at 273k has more energy as compared to ice at 273k ,since ice can easily absorb energy from surrounding in the from of latent heat to form waterwhereas water has no such privilege hence ice is more effective in cooling than water at same temperature.

bcoz it is in the form of solid and the kinetic energy is large in amount

Because at 0° C (273 K) particles of water have more energy comparing it to water at the same temperature.
