Ice boxes are often made double walled. Why?

There is a vacuum in between the two wall of the box, because of the vacuum present in between the walls, heat can not travel from out side to inside so melting of ice is very less.

bcoz of the present of the vaccum between the two walls the heat cannot cone in so that the thing inside it remains cools for long time...
