thermocol block is an insulator so heat cannot be absorbed by it so it doesn't melt fast

hey ... thermocol is known to be a bad condicto I.e. it is an insulator of heat.... thus it does allow (little) heat to pass through it... moreover ice has less temperature than normal room temp. thus due to thermocol covering , the ice does not receive much heat not allowing it to melt quickly.... hope it helped. please mark it the brainliest

bhaskarpanja91: thanks rafi
