Ice layer forming on the water bodies in the cold regions is very blessingful to the aquatic animals.Give reason for it.

because ice is lighter than the water. lower part of water bodies there is tempature of water is 4°c as at 4°c water is mostly densed and heavy. so it remains as liquid form and helps to survive aquatic animals

Ice later has less density than the water so it floats on water.

This helsp the aquatic animals as :

1. It don't allow the birds to attack on them.

2. This also helps them to come out and take sun bath.
