Ice melts slowly at high altitude. Explain why?

Hello my dear,

To understand this concept very easily, let me tell you an example: you know when we go higher in the altitude, the temperature also decreases. Just like that, the higher the altitude the lower the air pressure so, ice melts slowly at high altitude.

Because the higher the temperature, the lower the ice melts very slowly

Ex : When you bring a samll piece of ice to the top of a mountain, it wont melt if the moutain high
