Ice melt to water due to difference betwwen heat between ice and surrounding if surrounding is heat is more then ice then its melts to water.

When ice is at room temperature, which is warmer than it's usual surrounding, the molecules begin to move apart, the kinetic energy increases, the intermolecular force of attraction decreases, and ice changes its state of matter to form water.
