heres the answer:-

When we boil water it changes into gaseous state. Now you will just have to keep a plate above the gas. You will eventually see that water droplets accumulate in the interior of the plate. Now take this water to freeze. It will turn into soild.

Freezing of water changes its state from liquid to solid eg. ice . Melting of ice changes its matter from solid to liquid eg. water. And then when we book this water its state of matter changes to liquid to gas eg. steam. And we condense the steam it forms water. Thus, we can conclude that Ice, water and steam are three states of a substance and not different substances.All these change of state is due to temperature.
