Icecream appears colder to the mouth than water at zero degree celcius why

Ice cream appears colder than water at 0°C because ice molecules are close enough I.e. they have high intermolecular force of attraction as compared to that of water. Hence appears colder.

By the way, this question is of chemistry not physics.
