The war of 1857 is also know as first war of independence as the people from every section despite of belonging 4th o different caste, states religion took part in the war ,to fight against tbe unjust policies of British and to swipe them away from India.

 \bold{IMPACT}

The war had a great influence like India went under direct British crown from the hands of east India company

The peshwas and mughal rules came to end.

 \underline {End \: of \: mughal \: empire }

Bhahadur shah zafar was the last mughal ruler . After his deadth the mughal empire came to end,as his successors were deprived of and were sent away from the main castle to there personal castles. They were restricted to use imperial titles. And the the successor of the thrown was left as mere princes.

Nana Sahib was last peshwa, took a great part in uprising .After he was deprived off his pension he had started plotting against British with help of other resources but soon Britishers came to know about Nana Sahib ran away to Nepal and was With this peshwa Empire came to end.

 \underline {Princely \: states}

The main hindrance for princely states, Policy of annexation and Doctrine of lapse came to end. The princes who had remained loyal to British crown ,had become junior partners or agents of British, Queen Victoria permitted them to continue there rule under British crown.
