hey mate

here is the answer...

Given:

investment=₹6250

dividend%=6%

Nominal value (N.V)=₹25

Market value (M.V)=₹31.25

thus,

the number of shares=investment/M.V

=6250/31.25

=200

thus,

annual income=d%/100*N.V*no. of shares

=6/100*25*200

=6*25

=₹300(answer)

Given :

The investment amount = A=  ₹ 6250

The dividend percentage per annum = d = 6%

The nominal value of each share = N.V = ₹ 25

The market value of each share = M.V = ₹ 31.25

To Find :

The annual income from this investment

Solution :

We know,

Number of shares = \dfrac{Investment amount}{market value}

                              = \dfrac{A}{M.V}

                              = \dfrac{ 6250}{31.25}

                              = 200

Again

Annual income = dividend% × nominal value × number of shares

                         = 6% × ₹ 25 × 200

                         = \dfrac{6}{100} × ₹ 25 × 200

                         = 6 × ₹ 25 × 2

                         = ₹ 300

Hence, The Ravi's annual income from this investment is ₹ 300  . Answer
