- Per Caption Income: The total national income divided by the number of people in the Nation. Per Capita income is a measure of mean income within an economic aggregate, such as a Country. The per Capita GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is especially useful when Comparing one Country to another becomes it shows the relation performance of the Countries. A rise in per capita GDP signals growth in the economy and tends to translate as an increase in productivity. The average income is also called per Capita Income.
