Identifical packets are dropped from two aeroplanes,one above the equator and other above the north pole,both at height 'h'.Assuming all conditions as identical,will these packets take same time to reach the surface of the earth?Justify your answer.

seems the value of acceleration due to gravity is different at pole and equator the time required is not same.

Yes the packets will take same time to reach the surface of the earth because of acceleration due to gravity (g) that is constant for every object
