The idea of satyagraha are as follows>

1.the ideas of satyagrha emphasised the power of truth and the need to search of truth.

2.it suggested that if the cause is true,if the struggle is against injustice,then physical forces are not neccesary to oppose the oppressor

3.without being aggresive a satyagrahi can win the battle through non-voilence

4.gandhiji believed that truth was bound to ultimate victory.

5.he believed that the dharma of non voilence could unite all the indians.
