The average of masses of A and C equals B

For (1)

Mg (24.3), Ca (40.1), Sr (87.6)

A+C/2 should be B

let's verify..

(24.3 + 87.6 )/2 = 111.9/2 = 55.45 to be approx which is not equal to Ca's mass which is 40.1

so (1) does not follows dobereiner's traid...

Now for (2)

Be (9.0), Mg (24.3), Ca (40.1)

(A+C)/2 should be B

(9 + 40..1)/2 = 49.1/2 = 24.3 to be approx

So we verified that A + C/2 = B

and

therefore

(2) follows dobereiner's traid
