oxidation and reduction is not coming in class 10 board so in my school it is not taught yet but it will be after the course will be completed

Oxidation means addition of O2 or removal of H2 gas while reduction means removal of O2 or addition of H2 gas.

1. Fe + S - > FeS
This reaction is not redox reaction.

2. 2Ag2 O - > 4Ag + O2
In this reaction, silver oxide gets reduced.

3. 2Mg + O2 - > 2MgO
In this reaction, magnesium gets oxidized.

4. NiO + H2 - > Ni + H20
In this reaction, nickel oxide (NiO) gets reduced.
