Water turns anhydrous copper sulphate into blue crystalline.
• Pure copper (II) sulfate is white compound.
• It is also known as anhydrous copper (II) sulfate as it has no water in it.
• When water exist in a sample of copper (II) sulfate it goes blue.
• When it turns blue then It is still a dry solid, since the discrete water molecules are stuck within the ionic lattice surrounding the copper (II) ions.
