Identify reducing and oxidizing agents in 4 NH3 + 5 O2 is equal to 4 NO + 6 H2O

The oxidation state of N on reactants side is -3 and that on product side it's +2. so the oxidation number is increased it means it is oxidized but will act as reducing agent.

The oxidation state of O is changed from 0 to-2 so it's reduced but with act as oxidizing agent.
