Acid--> Hydrochloric acid
Base--> Sodium hydroxide
Sodium chloride is a neutral salt as its constituent acid and base both are strong.
It is called rock salt when it is found in form of crystals and it is then mined like coal.
Rock salt is formed by the crystallisation of sodium chloride (common salt). It is darker in colour due to impurities.
I had the same question and I believe this is the right answer. Cheers!
