SOLUTIONS

We know that in the adjectives there are three degrees of comparison. Positive, Comparative and Superlative.

  1. Comparative - 'er' is added at the last of the noun. Some adjectives doesn't follow 'er' ..so before those adjectives the word 'more' is added to it. ( examples - more beautiful, more nervous etc. )
  2. Superlative - 'est' is added at the last of the noun. Some adjectives doesn't follow 'est'...so before those adjectives the word 'mosr' is added to them. ( examples - most beautiful, most merciful , etc.)

So following the things, u have to identify the adjectives and state the degrees of comparison.

1) more successful - Comparative degree.

2) taller - Comparative degree.

3) longest - Superlative degree

4) happy - Positive degree

5) wisest - Superlative degree

6) lazy - Positive degree

7) wealthier - Comparative degree

8) most important - Superlative degree

9) hotter - Comparative degree

10) hottest - Superlative degree
