The correct answer is Option D

Explanation

The magnetic orbital quantum number of the d-orbital is given by (-2, -1.0, 1.2). Therefore, it can be said that there are five d-orbitals. These orbitals are represented as dxy, dyz, dxz, dx2–y 2, and dz 2. Of these five d-orbitals, the first four d-orbitals are similar in shape to each other and differ from the dz2 orbital, but all five d-orbitals have the same energy.

Angular quantum number for d orbital is ,

l=2

And magnetic quantum number m= -2 to 2

So possible values are -2,-1,0,1 and 2

And it give rise to dxy, dyz, dxz, dx2-y2, and dz2 orbitals.

Hence both options b and c are correct
