1) calcium bicarbonate is treated with dilute hydrochloric acid.
2) ammonium sulphate is warmed with caustic alkali .
3) metallic sulphide is treated with dilute hydrochloric acid.
4) red light is heated with concentrated HCl .
5) sodium sulphide is treated with dilute HCl.

in first reaction the gas is carbon dioxide

in second reaction the colourless gas ammonia is released

in the third reaction hydrogen gas is evolved

in IV reaction the chlorine gas is liberated

in V reaction hydrogen sulphide with rotten egg smell will evolve
