Leguminous plants are those plants which have nodules on their roots which contain micro bacteria like Rhizobium ...they convert atmospheric ammonia into ammonium compounds which can be utilised by the plants easily.....this helps the plants as well as benefits they soil and makes it fertile again as the nitrogen which is being fixed into the soil is very useful for it
Hope it helps! Pleaseeeeee mark as brainliest!!
