OPTION (1) 6x + 2 = 7

The equation (equal to) has only 1 degree or exponent or power in the variable is called Linear Equation. So, As we can see that 6x + 2 = 7 has the 1 power of x variable and their is an equal to sign (=), So we can conclude that this equation 6x + 2 = 7 is a linear equation.

In x - 3 > 7 it has a degree 1 of variable x but it doesn't have the equal to sign (=). So, It is not a Linear Equation.

And in eqn 5x² + 4 = 10 it has a equal to sign (=) but it has degree 2 (not 1). So, it is not a Linear Equation.
