Answer:

Hey meet your answer here

Explanation:

Elements present on the right side of periodic table are non-metalic

elements present on left side of

periodic table are metals.

REASON:

Non-metals are characterised by their tendency to accept electron.

While going from left to right in period at same time ionisation entalpy and electron gain enthalpy increases due to increasing nuclear charge hence elements present on left side are

While elements present on left side have low ionsation enthalpy and can easily donate the electron which is characteristics property of metals.

Easiest way to understand:

Non metals are on right side and metals are on right side

Hope it helps!!!

HI DEAR:)

Most metallic elements - Rb , Cs , Fr

Most non metallic element - F , Cl , Br

Reason

•Since the no of shells increases on goin' down the group, the nuclear force becomes weak , hence electron can easily released (metallic character increases) and (non metallic character decreases)

• Across the same period the no of shells are constant but the no. of electrons keep on increasing , hence nuclear force becomes strong (metallic character decreses) and (non metallic character increases)

***

When an element releases (looses) the electron then it is called as a electropositive element ( that has metallic characters)

****

When an element gain the electron it is called as the ELECTRONEGATIVE element (that has non metallic characters)

THANKS:)

HOPE IT HELPS!
