A- Liver
B- Stomach
C- Large Intestine
Explanation-
- Functions of the liver: liver produces bile juice, liver also carries away wastes from the body, carries fats and breaks them down and helps in digestion. Liver produces blood plasma. Liver breaks down glucose into glycogen and back to glucose for satisfying the energy needs of the body, stores iron for the body. Clears blood from all the hazardous substances found in the body and converts ammonia which is poisonous to urea.
- Functions of the stomach: This organ helps in digestion of food. Stomach breaks down food eaten and produces acid and various hormones and enzymes to help the breaking down process. The food when broken down go to the small intestine.
- Functions of large intestine: Colon, rectum and anus are the part of large intestine. After the food has been done with the small intestine it gets passed onto the large intestine and here the food ends its digestive system’s journey. Here the food is converted to faeces and is ready to be thrown out of the body.
